Be prepared for the meeting:

2) Turned in three Photos & your Testimony
3) Know the Lord's Prayer & Apostles' Creed
You may need to stay in the "waiting room" when you log in until the person before you complete. Please stick around and wait for us to allow you into the Zoom.
Videos: 1) Testimony, 2) Parent Blessings,
3) Apostles' Creed line
Please record your student's testimony (about 2-3 minutes), their line of the Apostles' Creed, and parent blessing (about 30 seconds). Use only the students 1st name in these videos!
Send them as 3 separate files.
If you have an iPhone 6 or newer you have a good enough camera and mic built into your phone (Sorry I don't know anything about Android phones, but many of them can do this too).
For all videos: Do it in Landscape Mode (like a movie), wear nice clothes have good lighting, little to no noise in the background, please give a few seconds on both sides of the video with nothing being recorded for transitions. Have parent(s) and student in one shot for Parent Blessings. ONLY SAY YOUR KID'S FIRST NAME!

Testimony
We will have a nice printed copy of your testimony as well as a gift for your Confirmand for you to pick up at the church soon.
We need your student's Confirmation Testimony. Please email this testimony to: mfumcconfirmation@gmail.com
We need this by Monday, April 27 at Midnight.
Confirmation Class - 4/26/2020 at 10:30am
Come to class at 10:30am - dress nicely (button down, collard shirt, dress, etc). Wear same clothes as video! Please show up to class on time. We will need probably an hour to an hour and a half to complete everything. We've also got our super fun Meopardy game to play as we cover all of the different sections of Confirmation in a guy vs girl battle of your knowledge of Confirmation Class!
Please look over the vows. This is the order we will do them in class. You read the bolded parts ("I do," "I will with God's help," and your section of Apostle's Creed!)
Vows:
Do you here in the presence of God, and of this congregation, renew the solemn promise and vow that you made, or was made in your name, at your Baptism? I do.
Do you confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and pledge your allegiance to His Kingdom? I do.
Do you receive and profess the Christian faith as contained in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament? I do.
Do you receive the teachings of the Apostles Creed as true? If so, recite them now with your church family.
